Since the shooting in San Diego last night- Did you ask-is there racism among police officers?

If you asked this, I will give you my experience.
If you know me, you know I was an  officer for over 30 years, working in six different stations.
This was the California Highway Patrol, which had never barred anyone because of race.

What you found was, especially among Black officers, they had to give up membership in that race and join another minority--Police Officers.

Same is true among Hispanic officers.
Asians, they and their families consider it an honor to be a peace officer.
